Question :
Write short notes an the following: Resistor: Resistor, Breadboard, VIN, Servo Moto, DC motor
A resistor is a passive electrical component with the
primary function to limit the flow of electric current.
A breadboard
is a temporary circuit board for testing and prototyping circuits, no soldering
is done on the board, this mean it is faster and easier to prototype circuits.
The input
voltage to the Arduino / Genuino board when it is using an external power
source (as opposed to 5 volts from the USB connection or other regulated power
source). We can supply voltage through this pin, or, if supplying voltage via
the power jack, access it through this pin.
A Servo Motor
is a small device that has an output shaft. This shaft can be positioned to
specific angular positions by sending the servo a coded signal. As long as the
coded signal exists on the input line, the servo will maintain the angular
position of the shaft. If the coded signal changes. Servos are extremely useful
in robotics.
A DC motor
(Direct Current motor) is the most common type of motor. DC motors normally
have just two leads, one positive and one negative. If you connect these two leads
directly to a battery, The motor will rotate. If you switch the leads, the
motor will rotate in the opposite direction.
